この度、大変光栄なことに、昨日2025年11月6日（木）の「巻き寿司の日」に、TBSの人気情報番組「Nスタ」の「これ知りたい」コーナーにて、当店Hand Roll Tokyoを特集していただきました！ご覧いただいた皆様、そして取材にご協力いただいたTBSのスタッフの皆様に、心より感謝申し上げます。
11月6日「巻き寿司の日」にNスタで特集！
番組では「巻き寿司専門店大人気！」「鉄火巻き売り切れに」という、大変ありがたい切り口でご紹介いただきました。
放送でも触れられていた通り、当店の看板商品である「マグロ」「漬けマグロ」は、連日多くのお客様にお求めいただき、早い時間に売り切れとなってしまうこともございます。ご来店いただいたにも関わらず、ご提供できなかったお客様には大変申し訳なく思っております。
今回の放送をきっかけに、さらに多くのお客様に当店のことを知っていただけたかと思うと、スタッフ一同、喜びと同時に身の引き締まる思いです。
放送で注目された「ふんわりシャリ」のヒミツ
今回の取材では、当店のハンドロール（巻き寿司）の「心臓部」とも言える、シャリを広げる専用マシンにも注目していただきました。

Hand Roll Tokyoが目指すのは、「口に入れた瞬間に、ふんわりとほどける」ような、専門店の巻き寿司です。
この食感を実現するため、シャリはマシンを使って素早く、均一な空気の層を含ませるように薄く広げています。これにより、シャリが押し固まることなく、新鮮な具材とパリッとした海苔の風味を最大限に引き立てる、絶妙なバランスを生み出しています。

We are incredibly honored to announce that yesterday, November 6th, 2025—which is “Maki Sushi Day” (Sushi Roll Day) in Japan—Hand Roll Tokyo was featured on the popular TBS news program, “N-Star”!
We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who watched and to the entire TBS crew for their wonderful cooperation.

The program introduced us with flattering highlights like “Hand Roll Specialty Shops are Booming!” and “Their Tuna Rolls are Selling Out!”
As mentioned on the show, our signature items, the “Maguro” (Tuna) and “Zuke Maguro” (Marinated Tuna), are in very high demand and often sell out early in the day. We sincerely apologize to any customers who visited but were unable to purchase them.
To think that this broadcast has introduced our shop to so many new people fills our entire team with both joy and a renewed sense of responsibility.
The Secret to Our “Fluffy Shari” (Sushi Rice)
The feature also highlighted the special machine we use to prepare our shari (sushi rice)—it’s truly the “heart” of our hand rolls.
At Hand Roll Tokyo, our goal is to create a specialty roll that “gently falls apart in your mouth” the moment you take a bite.
To achieve this unique texture, the machine spreads the shari quickly and thinly, incorporating a uniform layer of air. This prevents the rice from becoming dense or packed, creating a perfect balance that enhances the flavors of the fresh ingredients and the crisp nori (seaweed).

We are truly delighted that our shop, which we started here in Asakusa, Tokyo, with the desire to “make traditional Japanese sushi rolls more casual, new, and enjoyable,” has been recognized on national television.
For those who saw “N-Star” and thought, “I want to try that!,” as well as for our wonderful regular customers, we invite you to visit us when you are sightseeing in Asakusa, looking for lunch, or enjoying the local street food.
Please be advised that we anticipate heavier crowds than usual following the broadcast. This may lead to longer wait times or sold-out items (especially our tuna rolls).
